First Baptist Church Statesboro is seeking a Student Pastor to provide overall leadership of the church’s disciple-making strategy for middle and high school students. The congregation has recently journeyed through a visioning process, led by Dr. George Bullard, which clarified and confirmed God’s timeless call of disciple-making, and all ministry areas are aligning their programs, ministries, and strategies toward this singular goal.

More than directing programs and organizing events, the Student Pastor will focus on equipping students and parents to fulfill the church’s vision of disciple-making. He will supervise the work among students in grades 7 – 12 as part of a churchwide, multigenerational spiritual growth process. He will report directly to the Discipleship Pastor and be a member of the leadership staff.

A legacy church historically averaging 1,200+ in worship, First Baptist Church Statesboro is a congregation of approximately 3,000 members with an annual operating budget exceeding $3,000,000. Statesboro is home to Georgia Southern University and located along a growth corridor extending from the greater Savannah and coastal region of Georgia.
