Overtime Status:  Eligible

 

Job Summary

A full-time, 40-hour work week, non-exempt position that is highly visible/audible having a significant amount of interaction with church members, guests, vendors, etc. and an overall objective of treating people with a high degree of respect, courtesy, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • A personal faith in Jesus Christ with a mindset to support the Church’s beliefs
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with MS Office software
  • Good organizational skills; ability to multi-task
  • Good interpersonal skills; pleasant/friendly disposition

Core Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Answer phone calls as quickly as possible in a polite and courteous manner; direct the caller to the proper staff/department
  • Manage building access system; assist all guests in a polite and courteous manner; notify the Facilities Supervisor and/or the Business Manager of any concerns pertaining to guests
  • Receive deliveries; notify staff/departments of their packages; schedule package pickup; retain shipping documentation; process incoming & outgoing mail
  • Process weekly attendance records; manage baptism schedule; produce general correspondence; file invoices
  • Assist other ministries as directed by Supervisor
