Job Summary
Create a positive environment and quality experience for employees, church members and guests by overseeing the operation of the kitchen facilities, supervising the Food Services staff, managing inventory, and ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and work areas.
Qualifications
- A mindset to support the beliefs and practices of the Church
- A high school diploma or GED with a basic working knowledge of facilities maintenance including safety and security protocols
- Possess a valid motor vehicle license with a clear record
- Perform assigned tasks with some degree of initiative, and attention to details
- Able to perform strenuous work while standing for extended periods of time
Core Responsibilities / Tasks
- Review/Update the Church Calendar for upcoming events
- Coordinate with Ministry leaders and church members to plan each event
- Schedule the staff to adequately support each event
- Order all food and supplies
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure the best service for the church
- Oversee all food preparation, service and clean up
- Train, develop, and manage Food Services employees and volunteers
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Oversee the maintenance of kitchen equipment
