Job Summary
To support the Church’s mission and vision by assisting with the preparation of meals and the maintenance of a sanitary and organized workspace.
The typical work schedule for this role is Monday (6 hours), Tuesday (8 hours), Wednesday (10 hours), Thursday (5 hours) with occasional hours on weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- A mindset to support the beliefs and practices of the Church
- A high school diploma or GED with a basic working knowledge of food preparation and cleanliness.
- Ability to work diligently and follow instructions; cooperative attitude while working with fellow staff, vendors, church members, and general public
- Dependable, Punctual, Cordial
Core Responsibilities / Tasks
- Maintain a sanitized and safe working environment
- Assist with food preparations; operate commercial-grade equipment
- Supply and replenish the buffet serving tables as needed
- Assist with clean up after meals; wipe down tables; restock supplies
- Prepare coffee and water stations for weekends
